I have a wood stove.  My stove is burning & filling my house with smoke, what is happening?

You may have:

• A blocked chimney cap-get a wire brush to scrap away the creosote that has formed on the screen.

• Creosote may have fallen & blocked air vent.

• Your chimney needs to be cleaned.

• Change your blanket and door gasket.

• If you have a two story home you may need to crack open a window.

• Although unusual, the plate inside called "the baffle" may have become displaced and is causing a blockage.
